It's also easy to use and set up. Its ability to resume where it left off in our tests is a great feature. It did this for 77 minute on one cleaning, and then the battery died.

The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums that we tested comes with a self-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris into an external dirt compartment located on the base of its charging once it is full. The i3+ EVO is able to prevent overfilling with a self-emptying bin. However it still needs to be manually emptied at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L, which is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.

Like the i7, uses cutting-edge floor-tracking sensors to create maps. It also allows you to navigate in neat rows. However, the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 can store multiple. The map of the i7 can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones but not the i3+ EVO.

While the i3+ EVO is better in removing debris on surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at however, it's not the most effective in terms of cleaning edges and corners. The Q5 Pro's 240 minute running time is also a lot when in comparison to other 2-in-1 robots we have tested. If the battery is depleted it goes back to its dock and recharges, before starting cleaning where it stopped. You can control the Q5 Pro via the app and also use voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

This is the first robot we've seen with 3D mapping. This along with other advances has helped it perform exceptionally well in our tests of vacuuming and mopping test. You can schedule cleanings or set up no-go zones. You can also view the battery's status. The app is easy to use, though it does not support Apple HomeKit which is slated to be added by 2025. As of November 1, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to indicate that this feature will be delayed until 2025. HomeKit isn't compatible with several other robots, however Siri Shortcuts are.
